Vernissage and Exhibition in Gruenstadt, June 11th 2015

100 Visitors to my Vernissage in Gruenstadt – a encouraging success!

A very good response received my exhibition on 11/6/2015 in the old townhall. It was opened with a welcoming speech by city of gruenstadt´s alderman, Mr. Hans Tisch, followed by a very emotional laudation held by my brother Simon. In this he gave a a brief insight into my artistic life and provided some inspiration regarding the reflection and interpretation of abstract painting. In between Katharina Bengel (Violin) and Ilka Martin (Piano), both 11 years young, provided the musical support. Both young artists kept the audience spellbound and received resounding applause. Also very much appreciated were the small delicacies, prepared by my friends from “Leininger Land Art”, a kind of “culinary artwork”. Thus, all senses of the audience were engaged, together with a glass of sparkling wine the guests could allow the paintings to work on them or took the chance for a chat with me. Although it was temporarely a bit crowded inside the historic building’s venerable walls, it was a remarkable cultural evening for all. It was already late in the evening when the last guests had left and we had taken some of the paintings down off the walls.
Eleven large-scaled painting will remain there, exhibited there in the tourist-information room until late autumn.
