A good crowd of visitors came to my Opening Exhibition with the motto “Augenblicke” on August, 25th in the entrance hall of county council Bad Duerkheim.
“Augenblicke” means “moments” directly translated, but if we separate it into “Augen – Blicke”, it would gain an ambigious meaning. We can translate it as “Eyebeam” in this case, also we could interprete it as “glance” or “view” or “sight”.
The vernissage was opened with a welcoming speech by district administration´s alderman, Mr. Claus Potje,
My Brother Simon gave some insights with a humorous and eloquently laudation, which received extraordinary applause.
Con timpano, Walter and Angelika Eckfelder provided a great musical support, a perfect supplement to the presentation.
Later on, the guests could enjoy the small delicacies, prepared by my friends from “Leininger Land Art”. Completed with a glass of sparkling wine, in the light-flooded entrance hall this was the best way to witness the “moments”, or to have a glance, or an eyebeam….whatever they had in mind.
I would like to thank all visitors and all my assistants so much, some special thanks to Rebecca Grzonkowski and Gerd Turznik for some wonderful photos.
And, of course thousand thanks to my friends from “Leininger Land Art” for their great support !!!
The paintings will remain in the county council Bad Duerkheim until October.
